How we use cookies

We group cookies into two categories. Necessary cookies are always active. Analytics cookies are optional and are only set if you accept them.

Necessary cookies

These keep the website working and remember the choice you make in the cookie banner, so we do not have to ask on every visit. In the product itself, this category also covers what keeps you signed in and keeps the work you have saved. None of it can be switched off, because the website and product cannot function without it, and none of it is used for analytics.

Analytics cookies

These may collect general usage information, such as pages visited, interactions with website features, device and browser type, referring website, and performance data. We use this information to understand what is useful and where we can make improvements.

Session replay

If you accept analytics cookies, we also record a replay of your visit to this website: the pages you move through, and where you click and scroll. We use replays to find pages that confuse people or lay out badly on a given screen size.

Replays are not filtered, so what you type on this website is recorded. If you fill in the contact form, the replay carries your name, your email address, and your message as you type them; on the newsletter form it carries your email address. Passwords are the one exception, and this website has no password field in any case, because signing in happens in the product.

Replays continue into the product if you accept analytics there, and in the product they include what is on the screen: the opportunity board, contract detail, and your portfolios and their values. What you type in the product is not recorded.

If you would rather not be recorded, decline analytics, which costs you nothing: every feature works the same either way, and you can change your mind at any time using Cookie settings in the footer. You can also write to us at support@wheelta.com instead of using the contact form.

What we do not collect

We do not use analytics cookies to collect account credentials or payment details, and we do not use them for advertising or personalization. Our analytics events, as distinct from the replays described above, never carry your name, your email address, form text, or any financial value.

Your choices

Analytics cookies are off unless you accept them. Choosing to accept necessary cookies only does not affect access to the website or product. You can change your choice at any time using Cookie settings in the footer.

Retention and service providers

We may use trusted service providers to process analytics data on our behalf. Analytics data is retained for no more than fourteen months. A necessary cookie that records your consent choice may remain on your device so we can remember your preference.
